Business Challenge
UKSBS was operating on a long-established reporting platform that had served the organisation reliably for many years. As expectations for real-time analytics and richer reporting continued to grow – both internally and across their client organisations – they recognised an opportunity to modernise their data environment to unlock greater efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Data extraction and reporting processes involved substantial manual effort, which naturally limited agility and made it harder to respond quickly to business needs. The organisation wanted a unified, automated, cloud-based platform that would streamline reporting, improve data quality, and support faster decision-making across the services they deliver.
Solution
UKSBS partnered with ElysianIT to design and implement a modern data and reporting platform leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Services, including Fabric and Data Factory. Together, we created a secure, scalable, cloud-based environment that consolidated data sources into a centralised data lake, enabled real-time data ingestion, and automated key reporting workflows.
At the core of the programme was ElysianIT’s Technical Design Authority (TDA) function. Working collaboratively with UKSBS stakeholders, we defined a robust data strategy and a clear delivery roadmap, ensuring that each stage of the transformation aligned with UKSBS’s operational goals and long-term ambitions for data maturity and service excellence.
